Updates

By the end of this page you'll know how BizTray keeps itself current.

• BizTray checks in the background and downloads updates when available. The sidebar footer shows Checking for updates…, Downloading update… N%, then Update ready — Restart to update.
• Check manually any time from Settings ▸ Updates (Check now) or the tray menu's Check for updates…. If you're current you'll see "You're on the latest version."
• Choose your channel in Settings: Stable, or Beta to receive releases earlier with more risk.
• When an update has downloaded, Restart to update installs it. Your finished jobs stay in your history, and your watch folder rules are kept.

Auto-update runs in installed builds only.
