PDF Organizer

By the end of this page you'll be able to rearrange a PDF's pages and save the result as a new file.

What it does: splits, merges, extracts, deletes, reorders, rotates, and crops PDF pages locally. Large files stream through the bundled engine with no size cap.

How to use it

1. Open PDF Organizer.
2. Drop PDFs onto the panel, or click to browse.
3. With two or more PDFs loaded, Merge N PDFs into one combines them; reorder them first with the per-file move controls.
4. With a single PDF, you get a page grid: click to select · ctrl/⌘ multi · shift range · drag to reorder.

Editing pages

The edit bar acts on your selection, or on every page when nothing is selected:

• Rotate left / Rotate right.
• Remove selected — marks pages for removal; the button becomes Keep selected to undo it.

Nothing is saved until you apply. Then:

• Apply changes — writes one new PDF containing your whole edit set.
• Reset — discards every pending change.
• Extract selected to a new PDF — writes the selected pages as a separate document.

Splitting

Under Split into multiple PDFs, choose Every N pages (set pages per file) or At specific pages (list the pages to split before, for example 3, 7, 11), then click Split. Default split span is set in Settings ▸ Utilities.

Cropping

Crop selected pages (or Crop all pages) takes left, top, right, and bottom percentages, with a preview outlining the area you keep. Crop adjusts the visible area only — the content outside the crop box is still in the file.

Output: the PDF Organizer subfolder.

What usually goes wrong

Split and Crop read the original PDF, so they refuse to run while you have unsaved page edits — the panel tells you to apply or reset your page changes first. Do that, then split or crop.
