See it in action
Your whole document toolkit, one tray icon away
Click the tray, pick a tool, drop a document — and watch it run, all on your machine. Here's the real app doing exactly that.
The utility belt
What's in the tray
Seven focused tools, each with one job and a target you pick — covering the conversions people actually go looking for.
Why it's different
Local by design
Web converters make you upload the document first. BizTray does the work on your own machine — so there is no queue, no size cap, and nothing sitting on someone else's server afterwards.
Private
Contracts, statements and coursework never leave your PC.
Unlimited
No daily quota, no page cap, no file-size ceiling.
Batch
Drop a whole folder in. Or let a rule convert it for you.
Transparent funding
How BizTray stays free
BizTray shares a portion of your spare internet bandwidth through Massive, our vetted partner — that's what pays for development instead of a subscription, a page limit, or ads. It relays other people's web traffic, and it never touches your documents.
- Disclosed before anything runsSpelled out at install — you agree to it, or you don't install.
- Never your documentsIt relays other parties' traffic, not your files or browsing.
- Keeps running in the backgroundIncluding after you close the window, until you turn it off.
- You can turn it offFrom Settings or the tray — the tools pause while it's off.
Turning sharing off also pauses the tools — it's the trade, not a paywall. Don't want to take part at all? Uninstalling ends it completely.

How it works
From download to done in three steps
No account, no setup wizard, no learning curve — just a helpful little tray icon.
- 1
Download & install
Grab the installer and run it. It installs just for you — no admin prompt, no reboot, done in seconds.
- 2
It lives in your tray
BizTray tucks itself into your system tray. Drag a file onto the icon, or open it when you need a tool.
- 3
Drop a file, pick a target
Choose a tool, drop your document in, and pick what you want out. Everything happens on your machine.
Instead of testimonials
The fine print, up front
BizTray is new, so there is no wall of five-star quotes here — and we are not going to write one. Here is what people would otherwise find out after installing.
Windows only
Windows 10/11 (x64). There is no macOS or Linux build, and none is in progress. If you are on a Mac, this is not your tool yet.
The signature is a visual mark
Fill & Sign flattens the mark you draw, type or upload into the page. It carries no cryptographic proof of who signed or when, so it will not satisfy a form that specifically demands a PAdES eSignature.
Office formats wait on a download
The first Office conversion fetches a document engine — roughly 400 MB, once, then cached. The PDF tools, images to PDF and Fill & Sign all work the moment you install; the Word, Excel and PowerPoint paths do not until that lands.
A scan is a picture, not text
Image-only PDFs have no text layer, and this version does no OCR — so converting a scan to text, Markdown or HTML comes back empty. Rendering one to PNG or JPG works fine.
It keeps running after you close the window
Watch Folders needs a live process, and so does the bandwidth sharing that pays for the app. Both keep going in the tray once you close the window. You can switch the sharing off — the tools pause while it is off.
No numbers we have not measured
You will not find an install counter, a time-saved statistic or a star average on this page. When there are real reviews we will publish them here, spread and all — until then there is nothing honest to put in this space.
